(Delbert) André Green II

He/Him

I am gay/queer and I am an evolutionary developmental biologist, with particular interest in insects.

I’m a postdoctoral scholar/assistant professor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. I’ve meandered here though a fantastic childhood in rural Louisiana, a decade in Cambridge, MA (undergrad at MIT, grad at Harvard with Cassandra Extavour), a brief biotech startup stint in New Orleans, and a couple years at UChicago (with Marcus Kronforst) gearing up to my most recent work. I strive to champion the essential right of all, most critically the underserved, to bring our unique perspectives to bear on this process of discovering how our world works.
