I work at the University of Minnesota, where I’m a professor and head of the department of Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior. My research focuses on the evolution of animal decision-making, and cognitive phenomena like learning. My lab is currently studying the role of conventions in non-human behavior. I live with my husband in downtown Minneapolis.
