Hi Folks,
I am an ecologist currently working in northern mine reclamation, environmental monitoring, and ecological restoration with a focus on using native seeds to revegetate impacted lands. I work with Yukon Seed and Restoration, a partnership of local knowledge holders, scientists, governance, and industry experts working to help develop solutions to deal with the compounding effects of human and climate disturbances on sites in Northern Canada.
I am excited to continue learning about and exploring the worlds of ecological restoration and northern ecology, with a special consideration for queer ecologies! I feel extremely fortunate and privilege to work with a diverse group of accepting and open individuals and hope I can be a role model and mentor to other queer folks in northern STEM and beyond.
