He/Him
I am gay and I am an environmental health scientist.//
I am environmental health scientist working at the intersection of climate, energy, and health inequity. My doctoral research was based in rural Ghana where I worked with local colleagues to conduct social science, exposure science, and epidemiological research to inform cookstove-based energy transitions. As a postdoctoral fellow, I am now working on fine-scale satellite-based modeling of environmental exposures, and using them to understand environmental health disparities. Ultimately my work is developing the evidence to support environmental and climate-equitable solutions for the global poor and minoritized groups.
My degrees are from Ithaca College (BA), New York Medical College (MPH) and Columbia University (PhD), and my postdoctoral training is at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
