She/Her

I’m queer and I’m a biologist. //

I’m a PhD student at the Radboud University Medical Centre in the Netherlands and I focus on the pathological and biological aspects of rectal cancer treatment. I’m looking into different prognostic factors and potential histological markers that can predict patient response to therapy in order to improve treatment and quality of life. Previously I worked on vector-transmitted diseases such as dengue and malaria. I am a very curios person, so I love to investigate topics that draw my attention, ultimately with the intention of helping people. Apart from science, in my spare time I like to play volleyball and rugby, meet friends and binge-watch series on Netflix. I am also a devoted foodie and enjoy cooking for friends and family.
