I am gay and I am a zoologist. //
I’m a dinosaur palaeontologist turned amphibian biologist. I completed my PhD in the UK on variation in amphibian skin thickness and just finished my first postdoc in Sydney, Australia on amphibian biogeography. I’m interested in how functional traits of amphibians (past and present) can inform conservation, restoration, and rewilding policy. I was born and raised in rural Illinois and have been lucky to travel so much for my studies and research. I’m actively looking for postdocs and would also be very happy to try to answer anyone’s questions about studying/researching abroad!
