I am gay and I am a data scientist.//
I am a data scientist whose passion was born out of adversity and curiosity as to why events occur. I will be the first to admit that my journey to where I am now was not easy, but through perseverance and going into the STEM field with the attitude that I will succeed. I have always been fascinated by data and how it rules our daily lives, and I believe in a future in which equity in education is available for all students, and my expertise in predictive and prescriptive analytics benefits students across the State of California.
During my graduate studies at CSU Global, I have completed projects discovering root causes of why people vote the way they do, and what is and will influence voting patterns through data analytics and regression analysis. I have also been inducted into Golden Key International, National Society of Leadership and Success, and joined OSTEM.
In my free time, I train for marathons and the AIDS Lifecycle and hope to compete in a triathlon in the future. I also like to hang out with my cats, go boxing, and enjoy science fiction, fantasy, and reality TV shows like Doctor Who, Futurama, Sailor Moon, and The Real Housewives.
