I am gay and I am a stem cell biologist. //
I am currently a graduate student at Rockefeller University. My coming out was inspired by fellow gay lab mates, unbeknownst to them, that showed me there is nothing to be afraid of and that being gay is normal. Since then, I have never been happier and try to show the same support to the LGBTQ+ community that was shown and is still shown toward me. Visibility of the LGBTQ+ community in STEM is important and can hopefully help those that are struggling to come to terms with who they are to be happy and live their true selves.
