I am gay and I am an applied mathematician. //
I am a Professor of Mathematics at Williams College. I examine nonlinear systems in biology, chemistry, physics, and the social sciences through several lenses, including data science, modeling, analysis, topology, geometric dynamical systems, numerical simulation, and experiment… all with an eye toward understanding and predicting complex behavior. I live in western Massachusetts with my daughter, husband, and gay dogs.
