I am Carlos Castillo, but you can call me «ChaTo».
🎓 My current research on algorithmic fairness is part of a lifelong inquiry into how computer science can contribute to addressing issues of social significance through interdisciplinary work.
💼 I am an ICREA Research Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where I lead the Social and Responsible Computing Research Group.
🌈 I am queer and non-binary, and use they/them pronouns. I am also a Latinx migrant to Barcelona.
