I am trans/queer and I am a biology/math PhD student.//

I study the evolution of cooperation, and I am especially interested in applications of evolutionary game theory models and framework. My focus is on bridging the worlds of math and biology by creating models that can be tested both empirically in the lab and theoretically. Currently, I am using the bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa as a model organism, as it cooperates by producing a digestive enzyme which then serves as a “public good.” Beyond academia, some of my interests include doughnuts and spoiling my cat, Pancake.
