She/Her, they/them is okay too :)

I’m queer (also identify as genderqueer, asexual, and bi) and I’m a biology graduate student (MSc), ornithologist, and behavioral ecologist. //

I’m a queer, first-generation college graduate from a low-income household in rural Pennsylvania. I received my Bachelor of Science in biology from Villanova University. As an undergraduate, I completed a thesis with Dr. Robert L. Curry on exploratory behavior (as a component of personality) in hybridizing chickadees. I’m still in the Curry Lab at Villanova University, where I’m pursuing a Master of Science in biology. I’m a passionate supporter of diversity and accessibility in STEM/academia, science communication and public outreach, and mental health access and advocacy in academia. My goal is to complete a PhD and continue on the academic track. I hope to someday be a mentor to other underrepresented or struggling students hoping to get their degree and/or find a career in STEM or academia.
