I am gay and I am an infectious disease epidemiology student. //
I’m a master’s student at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in the Department of Epidemiology. My research interests are in the field of HIV epidmeiology in key populations, specifically men who have sex with men as well as the trans* community. I hope to further the respresentation of LGBTQ+ persons conducting research in the field and contribute to the existing literature with a lens toward social justic and human rights within the context of public health. With few LGBTQ+ mentors in the field, I hope that I may lend a needed perspective to the current research.
