I am queer and nonbinary and I am a planetary geophysicist. //
I study how rocks record magnetic fields on Earth and other planets. As a postdoctoral research fellow at NIST, I am developing a calibration standard for the instruments we use to retrieve those paleomagnetic records, as well as bringing some long-broken equipment back to life for the first time in more than a decade. I am also the founder and acting president of our new queer employee resource group.
