He/Him

I am gay and queer and I am a biochemist. //

I recently graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in chemistry and will soon start my PhD in chemical biology at Harvard University. While at Stanford, I spent three years in the lab of Professor Elizabeth Sattely (Dept. of Chemical Engineering) working on plant metabolic engineering for medicinal small-molecule production. My scientific interests revolve around the wonders of cellular metabolism, both primary and secondary, and I’m hoping to continue doing research related to this in graduate school. I was fortunate enough to have been part of a thriving queer community while at Stanford, and I look forward to doing what I can to increase queer visibility in science in the future!
