I am bi and I am a marine biologist/zoologist.//
I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Zoology/Marine Biology. I spent some time in Borneo collecting recordings of bird calls and doing other field work. I have done multiple internships and a variety of jobs all in the animal field until I settled into aquarium work. Now, I work as a supervisor with a the team of 6. We are professional divers that clean and maintain around 400,000 gallons of water and 1500+ fish, 4 American alligators and 15 waterfowl of varying species. Recently, I went back to school to earn a masters in business/admin. In my spare time, I run an IG dedicated to my cats. Growing up, it never crossed my mind that I was bi until my mid 20s. And then it all started to click. I am very lucky to have so many people support me, not only in my friends/family, but also within my field. You’re never too old to grow and figure out who you are as a person.
