Hello! I am Allie, a non-binary/gay Developmental Biologist who is working on their PhD at Indiana University Bloomington! I am the co-founder of the LGBTQ+ Group in Biology at IUB and the co-host of the Is This Science? podcast where we hope to amplify the voices of queer and other historically marginalized groups! I am super nerdy and love cell fate decisions specifically I love cells that are transitioning from one fate to another that an in an in-between state where they have both fate. Weirdly I identify with that as I try to figure out my gender identity. I am really passionate about a lot of things and plan on going into science policy after graduate school. Finally I love tacos.
