I am bi and I am a PhD student in plasma physics.//
I am a PhD student at Princeton University doing experimental research in support of fusion energy development. I do my research at the Department of Energy’s Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. I also run a book review blog, help run the Princeton Women in Plasma Physics group, and do outreach work for my lab. As a Southerner at heart, coming from a state with low education funding, it is important to me to bring underrepresented minorities and people from outside the coastal schools into science. I have been openly queer since the age of 15 and will always speak out for the inclusion and visibility of LGBTQ+ people in STEM.
