I am gay and I am a theoretical physicist in soft condensed matter. //

I am currently a post-doc researcher at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst developing theories and simulations to understand polymers as applied to biology, materials science, and physics. Before this, I lived in various places throughout the U.S., including Niagara Falls, NY; Rochester, NY (undergrad at RIT); and Champaign-Urbana, IL (grad school at UIUC). In addition to my work in STEM, I also enjoy knitting, reading, swimming, and I play softball twice a week during the summer.
