I’m non-binary and genderfluid and I’m a physics PhD. //

My PhD combines quantum information theory with the theory of open quantum networks to understand (and eventually, improve) detection of single photons. I’m a bit lucky because, while it’s true many older people in my field have never heard of non-binary gender identities, I often get to explain who I am with quantum mechanics (not spin up or spin down, not a wave or a particle, etc.).
