He/Him
I’m gay and I’m a new PhD in chemical engineering. //
I’m a newly minted PhD in chemical engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. My work focuses on tuning the degradation of PEG hydrogels toward promoting cartilage tissue regeneration. After finishing up graduate school, I hope to move to California to explore the biotechnology industry there. Throughout my career, I’ve edited every facet of my existence to hide my sexuality, from the way I moved to the way I pronounced words. This is a struggle that I’ve only recently began to overcome with the amazing support of my friends. I believe that representation is important to show the next generation of scientists that it is okay to be queer in STEM!
