I am bi and I am a cosmologist.//
I did my undergraduate degree in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Toronto. Currently, I am a masters student at Queen’s University in theoretical cosmology. In particular, I use simulations to determine what kinds of gravitational wave signals would be produced by different models of inflation, the exponential expansion of the universe within a fraction of a second after the Big Bang.
I am also very passionate about science outreach. I am an executive for the IDEAS (Innovation, Diversity, Exploration & Advancement in STEM) Initiative and a coordinator for Let’s Talk Science, where I work to promote enthusiasm for science in youth and advocate for diversity.
