I am queer and I am a neuroscientist.//
I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan. My research focuses on uncovering the molecular mechanisms underlying the development of neuropsychiatric symptoms following severe illness. As a queer woman of color, I am passionate about increasing the visibility of LGBTQ+ scientists because representation is powerful. I strive to inspire the next generation of scientists by fostering inclusive, supportive environments where students feel safe sharing their stories and uplifting one another.
