I am queer and I am a neuroscientist.//
I am a Ph.D. student in the Neuroscience Graduate Program at the University of Michigan. I’m interested in the neural circuitry and molecular mechanisms involved in neuropsychiatric disorders. I am a queer woman of color working towards becoming a research professor. I want to increase the visibility of LGBTQ+ scientists; representation is very important and I hope to inspire the next generation of scientists to pursue a career in STEM by creating and fostering a safe and inclusive environment wherein students feel safe sharing their stories and supporting one another.
