I am gay and I am a marine biologist. //
I study the ecology and evolution of reef-building corals and their symbiotic algae, with a focus on how symbiosis mediates responses of corals to global climate change. I completed my PhD at the University of Miami, and postdoctoral training at the Hawai’i Institute of Marine Biology. I will be a research biologist at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago starting in the fall of 2018.
