I’m gay and I’m an ecology PhD student working on species interactions along gradients. //

I’m currently working as a first-gen PhD student at the Helmholtz-Center for Environmental Research in Leipzig, Germany. As a rather insecure person when in new environments, it took me some time to gradually open up about myself in my new working environment. I haven’t regretted it since and now feel confident enough to join this campaign and hopefully help others on their journey as well.
