He/Him
I am gay and I am a conservation ecologist. //
I’m a conservation ecologist who studies large mammals in African savanna systems, but my true love will always be African elephants. I’ve spent a large portion of my adult life studying elephant behavior, ecology, and conservation both at home and in the field. I’m currently pursuing my PhD in ecology at Brown University. I’m also a photographer and a writer and use both skills to better communicate my science to a variety of audiences. I believe in being an active, visible member of the queer science community and serving as a role model for young gay scientists whenever possible!
