I am gay and I am an associate professor.//
I am a mitochondriac leaving his dream in NYC as an Associate Professor of Biology at CUNY-Baruch College and with the love and support of Chris and Paco. It all started with undergraduate research in Brazil (Dr. Foued Espindola UFU), leading to a Ph.D studying mitochondrial electrophysiology under Marisa Campo (University of Extremadura), too many years postdoc-ing first at NYU (Casey Kinnally) and later at Cornell (Giovanny Manfredi) studying how mitochondrial ion channels regulate cell and neuronal fate.
