I am queer and I am an entomologist.//
I’ve always been a “bug kid” since I was very little. My mom had to stop me from bringing home snails in my pockets from preschool. I knew from the moment I entered undergrad that I wanted to work on arthropods, and now I’m here, entering grad school and publishing independent research on spider systematics and evolution. If 12 year old Niko could see me now, he would be very proud.
