He/Him

I am queer and I am a cognitive scientist.//

I obtained my PhD in computational neuroscience at the Hebrew university, with Prof. Naftali Tishby and Prof. Israel Nelken, using information theory and dynamical systems to study navigational learning in mice and the temporal dynamics of attentional resource allocation following mindfulness meditation.

I then did a postdoc in the lab of Prof. Liad Mudrik, using human psychophysical experiments to study how visual ambiguity affects conscious access.

Currently, I am a postdoctoral research fellow at Princeton University, where I am developing a theoretical approach to model how goals shape the way cognitive agents represent and structure their experience.
My personal experience as a gay/queer male helped shape my identity as a researcher, making me appreciate more original and non-conventional ways of thinking about and doing science.
