I am a trans woman working in process development at a genetic medicine startup. After transitioning towards the end of grad school, I was initially hesitant to come to work as my full self. Luckily, I found a company with a thriving queer culture and co-founded an employee resource group to support it! For me, visibility is so important to humanize and personalize the queer experience.
