I am gay and I am a PhD student at Northeastern University studying quantum mechanics.//

As a PhD student at Northeastern University, I investigate quantum materials through light–matter interactions, employing techniques including resonant inelastic x-ray scattering (RIXS), x-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD), and ultrafast pump–probe spectroscopy. My research explores the fundamental physics of altermagnets, 2D van der Waals magnets, unconventional superconductors, and correlated metals—revealing how exotic collective excitations emerge from symmetry and electronic structure. This work directly advances next-generation spintronic, magnonic, and altermagnetic-based technologies that aim to transform computing and information processing.

Science thrives as a global, interdisciplinary collaboration where diverse perspectives drive breakthrough innovations. I contribute to this ecosystem by facilitating scientific research discussions and by organizing and participating in international conferences and collaborations. Beyond research, I deliberately create platforms for queer and underrepresented voices in science, recognizing that dismantling systemic barriers and fostering inclusive communities produces more robust solutions to humanity’s most pressing challenges.
