They/Them

I am trans non-binary queer person and I am a paleoecologist.//

I am a PhD candidate in Switzerland. Since very young I always wanted to be a paleontologist! My current main project is on vegetation dynamics in the Swiss alps. I study how the vegetations is reacting with the effects of past climate changes and try to do predictions for the future. My project is very interdisciplinary and I have to be a bit of a biologist, a geologist, a climatologist at the same time. I also have several side projects in vertebrate paleontology. I support teams with programming in R. My current side project is on evolution of the inner ear of ruminants, a diverse group of mammals that contains deers, cows, antilopes and girafes. I also have a lot of interest for scientific communication to broader audiences.

I’m also engaged for LGBTQIA+ rights and trying to have safer workplaces for all people from minority groups.
