I am queer and I am a behavioral neuroscientist. //
My journey into STEM began in childhood, when I would spend hours in the fields and woods behind my home. Biology has always been close to my heart and I’m fortunate to have a career in which I can pursue my curiosity about the natural world. Currently, I am an Associate Professor of Biology and the most rewarding part of my job is mentoring undergraduate students in research with an eye towards dismantling barriers to participation in research.
