I am a lesbian and I am a cognitive neuroscientist.//
I am a postdoctoral fellow at National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke studying brain networks underlying episodic memory. I use transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to change these networks and improve memory in humans, and am currently investigating how task-related changes in network activity at the time of stimulation can enhance its effects.
I received my BA in Neuroscience from Smith College, then spent two years as a post-baccalaureate fellow at the National Institute on Aging before earning my PhD in Neuroscience at Northwestern University.
