I am gay and I am an environmental stress biologist/ecophysiologist.//
I am an environmental stress biologist researching the effects of artificial light at night (ALAN) on physiology, reproduction, and behavior using Zebra Finches (Taeniopygia guttata) as a model species. I am interested in integrating my background in biological research with environmental policy by working with stakeholders. Finally, I hope to uphold the values of diversity, inclusion, and equality to all STEM individuals. As a gay, first-generation, Asian-American, individual in STEM, I want to bring representation to this field.
