I am queer and I am an epidemiologist.//
I am an epidemiologist in training working on my Master’s of Science at the Brown University School of Public Health. My research interests are substance use, harm reduction and overdose prevention. In addition to conducting research I help to create content for a website that houses plain-language overdose prevention materials for people in Rhode Island (PreventOverdoseRI.org). I have always been interested in health and realized that a career epidemiology (and public health generally) would enable me to think about broad, structural ways to improve population health.
