He/Him
I am gay and I am a microbiologist and immunologist. //
I am in my sixth year as an assistant professor in the Department of Microbial Infection & Immunity at The Ohio State University. I did my PhD training in viral immunology at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, and then went on to do a postdoctoral fellowship in chemical biology at the Rockefeller University. In my lab, we study proteins and pathways of the innate immune system to understand how this system might be manipulated to better combat microbial infections. I live in Columbus with my partner and the world’s cutest dog.
