I’m gay and I’m a professor of psychology (behavioral neuroscience). //

I teach about behavioral neuroscience/genetics and head a research team that studies the factors that influence vulnerability for drug and alcohol addictions. I have been fortunate to educate and work with an incredibly diverse array of students who are teaching me about the world around us at the same time that I am trying to serve as a positive influence/example for them. Together, we will foster positive change and make a more welcoming and inclusive environment for all those who wish to bring their irreplaceable talents to the STEM fields.
