I am gay and I am a science education researcher.//
I work as a postdoctoral researcher in science education, having earned my degrees from universities in the UK, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and Indonesia. I’ve been interested in science ever since I was 11, when I stumbled upon Darwin’s “The Origin of Species” at a book store in my hometown. For the following years of hardship, I found refuge in science books and ideas, by which I challenged my deeply held beliefs and gradually came to terms with my own identity.
