He/Him
I am gay and I am a biochemist.//
I am currently a researcher at the University of New Mexico, working under the guidance of Dr. Michelle Ozbun. The lab primarily focuses on the molecular virology of human papillomavirus (HPV) infections and their progression to cancer.
Currently, I am investigating the effects of MEK inhibitors on tumor regression, using a mouse model to simulate human HPV disease to explore potential drug treatments.
I aim to further my expertise by pursuing an MD-PhD, specializing in cancer biology or virology. Outside of the lab, I enjoy engaging in outdoor activities, cooking, and playing sand volleyball! 🙂
