I am queer and I am a biological oceanographer and student.//

I am currently working on my PhD in oceanography at the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography. I use molecular methods to characterize the community structure, function and diversity of microzooplankton grazers and understand how they impact marine carbon export. I have garnered a network of colleagues around the country and am a loud advocate for LGBTQ+ people in STEM.
