They/Them

I am trans, nonbinary, and queer and I am an environmental scientist and land conservationist.//

I grew up in Florida with a love for the outdoors. In college, I decided to pursue a degree in environmental science with a focus in ecology and geology, although I have a personal passion for plants, fungi, and bugs. I currently work with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission as a Land Conservation Planner, where I get to work with biologists and conservation groups all over the state.

I’m openly polyamorous (to some), nonbinary, and queer in my office. Although I have run into some frustrating situations because of this, I’m lucky enough to have the support I do from my supervisor and immediate coworkers.

On a more personal note: I recently got married to my partner, the coolest field biologist I know. I like to write my penpals. I have a cat named Dusty. I love any outdoor activities including hiking, camping, kayaking, swimming, etc., and try to spend at least some of my weekend(s) doing so. I’m a huge book worm, and I enjoy roller skating. I’m a really creative person, and my art is all queercore or nature focused. I’ve recently picked up cross stitching.
