I am bisexual and I am a paleo-limnologist.//

I am a paleolimnologist, meaning I study lake mud to determine how freshwater environments have changed through time due to climate change and human activity. I am from a rural farming community in central Canada and have seen first hand the degradation of waters due to environmental stress. I have an interdisciplinary background an am trained in aquatic, earth, and environmental sciences, and have studied, worked, and collaborated at various institutions across Canada and the United States.

I am now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada). As I get my research program up and running I will be looking for graduate students and collaborators. Please reach out for more information about me and my work!
