He/Him

I am queer and I am cancer biologist.//

During the summer of 2024, I had the opportunity to meet queer role models in STEM while interning in San Francisco. This was the first time I encountered openly queer scientists and it made me deeply aware of the importance of visibility and representation in science. By sharing my own story, I hope to contribute to a more inclusive and supportive environment for others in STEM.

My academic background is in physics and engineering, and I transitioned into the field of biology during my MPhil studies in the United Kingdom. I am currently based in Paris, pursuing a PhD focused on the mechanics of cell migration in cancer. My research centers on the actomyosin cortex and the mechanisms by which cells undergo shape changes.
