They/Them

I am queer, non-binary and a behavioral ecologist.//

I have lived in Thailand for 10 years, working on projects that improve welfare conditions for captive elephants and promote coexistence between humans and wild elephants. My master’s research evaluated the potential for a crop species transition to mitigate social and economic consequences of human-elephant conflict. Currently, I’m conducting my PhD in the Conservation Ecology Program at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, studying the behavior and social dynamics of wild elephants in Kuiburi National Park.

I’m passionate about addressing the systemic barriers faced by young queer and trans people in STEM, and I believe this begins with visibility and representation of diverse identities.
