I am gay and I am an ecologist and evolutionary biologist.//
I am broadly interested in the ecological and evolutionary processes governing species distribution and the adaptation of plants to different and changing environments.
I was born and raised in France and Germany. After a Bachelor in Biology (France and Germany) and a Master in Plants and Environment (France), I did a PhD in Switzerland where I studied how past evolutionary, demographic and environmental factors play a role in shaping contemporary species’ range limits. I am currently a PostDoc in the USA where I study adaptation and response to changing climates of rear-edge populations – relicts of those that persisted in glacial refugia and which often occur at the warmer distribution end of a species.
