I am gay and I am a virologist.//

 

I am a professor at Washington State University. I was a First Generation college graduate. I’m an elected Fellow of AAAS. My laboratory studies how herpesviruses enter cells. My research program has been funded by the NIH since 2000. I have trained 15 graduate students and am passionate about mentoring in the STEM disciplines. Representation matters. Science is for everyone.
