I am bi and I am a neuroscientist. //
I am currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Behavioral Neuroscience at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. I made my way to OHSU through an undergraduate degree at Bowdoin College and a research technician job at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I “came out” during my graduate school career and honestly it was the best thing I could have done. Not only did I become a happier person, but I become a better scientist because the weight of being “closeted” was no longer holding me intellectually and emotionally back.
