I’m a lesbian trans woman and I’m a cognitive neuroscientist. //

My name is Alice and I am a lesbian trans woman studying cognitive neuroscience at the University of Alberta. After dropping out of grad school at the first attempt, I finally received my MSc in April 2018 and I’m beginning my PhD in September. I use a combination of EEG and behavioral techniques to study decision-making and motor planning during free-choice reaching tasks, with an emphasis on ecological theories of perception and action. In my spare time I enjoy cooking and watching Studio Ghibli movies. My cat’s name is Kiki 🙂
