They/Them
I am trans and I am a PhD student in criminology.//
I am a non binary trans and queer person whose thesis aims to understand leisure in women’s prisons. In general I see myself as an ac(tivist)ademic. In my humble opinion, advocacy and science have transformative potential: both aim to understand the world we live in, albeit through different means. So why not do both?
This is why I’ve recently launched a community-based education project for French speakers who want to learn about abolitionist theories and practice! (Ex. prison and police abolition.) Check us out @ApprAbbol (Twitter) @ApprentissagesAbolitionnistes (IG, FB) 🙂
